Marilyn Horn is the President and CEO of 98Forward, LLC, a Detroit-based PR firm that plays a pivotal role in the city’s civic and corporate communications landscape. Since assuming leadership in 2016, she has overseen all aspects of the firm’s operations, including financial management, budgeting, forecasting, human resources, business development, and vendor compliance.
With more than 51 years of finance and business leadership experience, Marilyn brings a rare depth of expertise to every engagement. Her career spans leadership roles at Henderson Financial and PNC Bank, as well as 26 years running her own private financial practice, a testament to her entrepreneurial drive and fiscal acumen.
Marilyn is an active civic leader and serves on committees for the Michigan Minority Supplier Diversity Council. She is Board Treasurer for the National Association of Women Business Owners, Detroit chapter and holds memberships with AMAC and The Notary Society.
Her excellence in finance and leadership has earned her recognition from some of the region’s most respected institutions. She is a Crain’s Detroit Business Notable Women in Finance honoree and a Michigan Chronicle Women of Excellence recipient. Marilyn has also completed executive programs at Dartmouth Tuck’s Management Leadership Program and Harvard Business School’s Young American Leaders Program.
