Bugatti Takes Its Hypercar Philosophy to Miami’s Waterfront

The French marque’s first U.S. branded residences will rise on the Miami River in Brickell.

When Ettore Bugatti founded his marque in Molsheim, France, in 1909, he was building more than cars. He was building a philosophy of beauty, craftsmanship and experience, which the company calls its Art de Vivre. More than 115 years later, that philosophy is going residential in the United States with Bugatti Residences Miami, the brand’s first branded residential development in the country.

A rare waterfront address

The project is a collaboration between Prosper Group, the real estate firm led by CEO Jay Roberts, and Versluys Group, the Belgian developer with more than a century of history, led by CEO Bart Versluys. It will occupy one of the few waterfront parcels still available in Brickell. The site sits along the Miami River with access toward Biscayne Bay. It is close to the financial district, the dining scene and the city’s art community.

The setting suits the brand. Miami is lively and refined, tropical and urban, and global while keeping its own creative character. Bugatti hopes to bring a French sensibility to that mix.

Luxury as a complete experience

The development follows Bugatti Residences by Binghatti in Dubai. Bugatti describes it as the next step in its residential vision, built on the design DNA of Art, Forme, Technique. The brand treats luxury as a total experience, so architecture, interiors, arrival, privacy, service and daily routines are all being designed through the Bugatti lens. The precision and attention to detail behind its hypercars are being applied to the home.

The team behind it

Bugatti is guiding the overall vision and says it will keep the project true to its values of individuality, excellence and incomparable quality. The partners are:

  • Prosper Group: a forward-looking view of how high-end Miami real estate is evolving.
  • Versluys Group: European development heritage and craftsmanship.
  • Brandon Haw Architecture: the architecture.
  • Yabu Pushelberg: the interiors.

Rhodium to run the residences

Bugatti has chosen Rhodium as its exclusive global residential operating partner. Rhodium is a name in luxury residential living, counts the Monaco Royal Family among its investors, and has a portfolio of prestigious branded developments. Its role is to shape the ownership experience from the start, with white-glove butler service, discretion, personalization and operational excellence.
